Dr. Soss recieved his bachelor degree is from UC Berkeley in Biological Psychology. In 1985, he received his Doctorate of Optometry from the University of Missouri, in St. Louis, including doing "grand rounds" at the Barnes Hospital Facility of Washington University, and several hospitals in the St. Louis Area. Dr. Soss also obtained his Fellowship in the American Academy of Optometry (FAAO) in 1987, with the mentorship of Dr. Karla Zadnik.
Since 1988, Dr. Soss has been in pravite practice in Burlingame. Having been a clinical instructor in the Ocular Pathology Department at UC Berkeley; Dr. Soss was granted Board Certification in the treatment of Primary Open Angle Glaucoma in 2004. He is always available for any consultation regarding any of your Glaucoma or Glaucoma Suspect patients.
When he hasn't been helping patients see better, he has spent more than 16 years on the board of the BAOC and SMCOS - where he resides as the current President.
